[September 26, 2021] EPC Sunday Sermon Reflection Questions

[September 26, 2021] EPC Sunday Sermon Reflection Questions

  1. What idols (evil or even good things that take priority over God) do you have in your life and faith that you wrestle with? These things may not explicitly be about your faith but also have to do with what is important to you, how you view others, how raise your children, your goals in career and academics, etc.
  2. Paul singles out the greatest thing in his life as his desire to believe in and "know" Christ as Lord. This is not just limited to the flowery and spiritual ideas of Christianity, but to live and love as Christ did for us both in the good and the bad, even to death. How does Paul's faith model and challenge us in how we live after Christ and the value we place in Him as Lord?
  3. To have our greatest joy and hope in Christ over all things is the pursuit of all genuine believers. As you have reflected, what are some practical changes that we can make to faithfully seek in molding our lives in Paul's encouragement? What needs to change?
  4. What stood out to you in today's message? Did you have any questions?
