"Blessed Are the Persecuted"
Matthew 5:1-12

As we close our series in the Beatitudes, we turn ourselves to the final call of Jesus. He points out that faithful disciples will face difficulty and even persecution in this life, but that we will be blessed and inherit the Kingdom if we faithfully persevere in joining with Him in His life, death and resurrection. We wonder if we surrender to living through persecution as Christ already endured for us and whether we will respond to His grace in reflecting His purpose in all things.
