[August 29, 2021] EPC Sunday Sermon Reflection Questions

[August 29, 2021] EPC Sunday Sermon Reflection Questions

  1. How do you normally respond in the face of uncertainty and hardship? What encouragement do you get from the Word today?
  2. Some may see Paul's clinging to Christ in life and death as "extreme". But when we consider the reality of this broken world and the temporary nature of it all, is there a better hope in all things than Christ? Why do you struggle to hope in Christ in all things, even life and death?
  3. Paul stresses the unity of the church as a primary indicator of faith. How do you see your part in the unity of the church and what are some ways that you/we can grow in this whether by prayer, acts of love, showing up, etc.?
  4. It's no question that Jesus calls us to "pick up our crosses daily and to walk after Him in obedience and surrender" (Matthew 16:24-26). Is this a priority for you in your life no matter what may come? What are some practical things that we can do to remember and grow in obedience to this as Christ calls us?
  5. What stood out to you in today's message? Did you have any questions?
